I went to my company Christmas party like I wake up on my birthday – depressed and with low expectations. And apparently, that made for a winning combination last night, as a good time was had by all. Well, at least by me. By some miracle of God or maybe just an error in gathering financial reports, I received the Outstanding Producer Award for 2008. How in the world did that happen? I spent the past year in a frenzied state of mind or in another state altogether fueling a relationship doomed for failure. Again, another winning combination. Who knew? Should this pattern continue - with my quarter-life crisis, painfully nostalgic heart and geographical discontentment - I'm bound to have an amazing 2009. YAY! Shocked and awed,

Making out with my award before they realize they gave it to the wrong person...
I swear, she doesn't look at the camera just to frustrate me. And it works...

Congratulations!
You helped produce my SoCal experience. You certainly deserve the award. Have a 333 drink with John for me.
Thank you. I'm putting it right next to my Outstanding Effort at Salvaging a Relationship award.
I got the golden filing award at work 7 years ago. It was a nail file glued on a piece of wood. I some how think that they were trying to tell me something...
I hate filing
Anyway good for you! and I am glad your christmas party was fun; it looks like you were having a good time :)
Oh my. It’s proudly hanging on your wall, isn’t it?
We got jipped on our gifts this year. We’ve received Tiffany jewelry for the past gazillion years, but due to the economy (I’d be okay with never hearing that word again), we got cheap bottles of wine – to drown ourselves in possibly?
dont dye your hair brown because you would then have to change your name :)
Ha. I suppose Russet Beatle wouldn't have the same ring to it.
Leptinotarsa decemlineata AKA Russet Beatle
Haha. Nice. Looks like I'm covered no matter what color I dye my hair.
Thanks be to all types of beetles...
When will we be blessed with more beatle droppings?
I know...I've been slacking. My New Year's Resolution will be to keep up with the blog Jones'.
